As a bit of a last minute addition to the lineup I’ve been invited to join the ranks for this Saturday’s Darkbeat Local Session featuring Jamie Stevens! Super chuffed to be on the lineup for this as Jamie is one of my favourite locals and someone whom I’ve looked up to since I was first introduced to electronic music. Needless to say it should be a really special night and I’m certain that Jamie will bring his A-game and offer up a phenomenal feature set! Read on for all the particulars…
In the depths of winter in 2010 after years and years of hearing from fans and international DJ’s alike that we have some of the best local talent in the world, we decided that we needed to celebrate our local heroes; and thus DARKBEAT LOCAL SESSIONS was born. Our thought process was simple: pick an artist, give them an extended set to showcase their skills and surround them with like minded DJ’s to create an evening of the highest quality in music.
Over the years we have showcased the likes of Gav Keitel, Phil K, Kasey Taylor, Sean Quinn & Dave Pham
After two years hiatus, we are proud to announce the return of the Darkbeat Local Sessions, and celebrate the return of the one and only Jamie Stevens.
2014 has been a huge year for Jamie (however that could be said for any year for the past 15!) Having spent the last few months writing music and slaying dance floors all across Europe we are honored to present his first show back on home soil. To make it even more special he has hand selected his support line up which comprises of some Darkbeat favorites but also introduce a selection of new faces to the Darkbeat family which we’re incredibly excited to welcome. Join us for what will be a fantastic celebration of one of our most successful and well loved artists.
