Doesn’t Matter – Aug 16th @ New Guernica
It’s time to lace those dancing shoes again as Doesn’t Matter returns to New Guernica for another auditory extravaganza! We’ve hand-picked Melbourne’s finest for this special celebration.
We’re honoured to host Tonelab for their debut Melbourne live set. Tonelab is Philip Rex and Ian Chaplin. They have worked together for over 20 years playing, writing and producing music such as IMPS, Decoy. and more recently Rex’n’Chappo. This is a slight deviation. but still maintains the harmonic flavours that are distinctive and instantly recognisable, even if the name is not.
Keeping in the spirit of fresh material, Melbourne wunderkind Timmus is preparing an exclusive live showcase of original productions to be unleashed for you on August 16th. This is something not to be missed. Joining us for the first time are Katherine and Ben Abrahams along with JLS who are backed up by a wealth of Doesn’t Matter favourites!
We’ve got birthdays left, right and centre as Doesn’t Matter co-founder Brynley celebrates 30 laps around the sun along with Darkbeat’s Dave Juric and DM resident Cookie who are also commemorating their name days!
10pm-late, $15 entry.
New Guernica. 2/322 Little Collins St, Melbourne.
